COWBOYS, HORSES AND STEERS – Dirt flyin' and cowboys in action is what Pioneer Days is all about. This was the bull doggin' action at John Miller's arena in Kiowa Saturday afternoon. The event was started by John Miller's wife Bev with a surprise roping for his 40th birthday. Decades later cowboys are still having a good time in the arena on this special weekend in Kiowa, Kansas. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful for the parade and arena events Saturday.
