The 90th anniversary of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority was celebrated by Beta Eta and Xi Gamma Nu chapters at the annual Founder's Day banquet held on April 29. Beta Sigma Phi is an international women's friendship network that provides educational programs to its members and opportunities for service to others. Members enjoy cultural and social events and donate to international funds and local worthwhile causes.

Members gathered at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall and enjoyed punch and visitation during the social time. The tables were decorated with rainbows and pictures of past Founder's Days with colored plates and napkins, Sister By choice posters, the past year's theme and a large rainbow decorated the wall behind the head table.

The welcome was given by Joyce Egner, president of Beta Eta chapter as Mistress of Ceremonies and ViAnn Wiersig led the Opening Ritual. Gloria Metcalf, president of Xi Gamma Nu led the Beta Sigma Grace and Barbara Case led the Founder's Day Pledge.
