Wade and Merlene Olson are excited to announce their 50th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2021.

They were married at the Friends Church in Alva by Rev. John Rutherford.

Wade and Merlene have been blessed with three children, their spouses and nine grandchildren; Wesley and Sara Olson (Wyatt, Anna, Luke, Mark) of Enid; Royce and Shannon McDowell (Garrett, Jessi) of Enid; Derek and Lindsey Olson (Lilly and twins Zoey and Riley) of Piedmont.

Wade worked oilfield jobs for 26 years and then the last 13 years in maintenance at VAP in Alva before retiring in January 2014.
