Dear Governor, Senators and Representative,

I’m the Site Manager at the Nutrition Center in Alva, Woods County, and writing in regards to a current situation that involves the lack of funding and our ability to serve all of the senior citizen that need our services.

We are allowed by the budget and funding from the state to have 25 seniors in our program which includes home delivered meals as well as those eating at the nutrition site. Our company Community Action Development Corporation has out-of-pocket sponsored up to 60 meals a day here in Alva with no extra funding from the state. Over th...
