Officials: Body of man pulled from northeastern Kansas lake

 


MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — A search team has pulled the body of a man from a lake in northeastern Kansas after nearly 10 hours of searching, authorities there said.

The man's body was found late Wednesday night in Tuttle Creek Lake, the Riley County Police Department said in a news release. Authorities were called to the lake around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after someone found a vehicle and clothes near the shoreline of the lake.

Police said the items found indicate they belonged to a 24-year-old Manhattan man. Police did not immediately released the name of the man whose body was found pending notific...
