GARDEN CITY, Kan. (AP) — A 5-year-old girl is dead after an accident involving three vehicles on U.S. 50 near the Garden City Airport.

Plliana Mupenzi died in the accident on Tuesday. Five others were hospitalized with minor injuries.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a Ford Edge crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Traverse, causing the Traverse to go into a ditch. The Ford then struck another vehicle, a Toyota Tacoma.
