From flowers to astrophotography, Graceful Arts Gallery features artful photography
July 2, 2021
This month the Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva is highlighting photography in their "Through the Lens" exhibit. The First Friday Art Walk tonight includes extended hours at the gallery from 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitors will see a variety of photographic prints by Aaron Ralstin, Dennis Burian, Janice Yeary and Todd Horner. The photographs portray scenes from colorful blooms to moody black and white landscapes.
Native Kansan Todd Horner has spent seven years constructing images of the vanishing Tallgrass Prairie. Aaron Ralstin is a Tulsa-based photographer who is inspired by the outdoors as seen in his wildlife, landscapes and astrophotography. Janice Yeary of Oklahoma City is displaying close-ups of colorful flowers and a variety of other interesting images. Dennis Burian is also from Oklahoma City, and his work includes images he develops in his own darkroom.
During the Art Walk tonight, Graceful Arts will provide refreshments to enjoy as you visit with friends and tour the amazing array of photographs. If you can't attend tonight, the display may be viewed all month at the gallery.
