'Little Women' summer youth production scheduled for July 15, 16 and 17

After an 18-month hiatus, Alva Community Theatre junior thespians return to the stage in the ACT I summer youth production of Little Women, July 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m.

Under the guidance of their beloved mother, Marmee, the four young March sisters – tempestuous Jo, motherly Meg, shy Beth, and spoiled Amy – struggle to keep their family going while father serves as a chaplain in the Civil War. Each girl strives to find her true self in the midst of an ever-changing society in Marisha Chamberlain's beautifully dramatized stage adaptation of the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott.
