The Alva Board of Education has a full agenda for Monday’s meeting as they prepare for the first day of classes. The board will meet at 5 p.m. in the Alva High School Library.

One-year contracts for four certified teachers will be discussed before voting. There will also be offers of employment for one non-certified position and for several bus drivers.

Adjunct instructors are also on the agenda with Mary Tyree for one hour of aeronautics, Dixie Meyer for two hours of chemistry and Brooke Meyer for anatomy and physiology.
