Josephine “Jo” Elizabeth Littrell was born November 8, 1935, in Edenton, Georgia, daughter of Will and Eckie (Smith) Linch. She graduated from Monticello High School and attended Young Harris College. On December 26, 1957, Jo was united in marriage to Erwin Jackie Littrell at Monticello, Georgia. She enjoyed raising her family, gardening her flowers, sewing clothes for her children and reading. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she had been active in various committees.
