106 Ranger student-athletes earn GAC All-Academic Honors

Alva, Oklahoma – The Great American Conference has announced their 2020-2021 conference All-Academic Team. Northwestern Oklahoma State University was well represented, with 106 student-athletes on the team. The conference set a record for 1270 total student-athletes earning all-academic honors.

Northwestern finished with the sixth most in the conference with the 106. The men's cross country team had eight honorees reach the academic team, which was the most members from men's cross country in the conference.

The conference qualifications to qualify for All-Academic honors are "For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have enrolled as freshmen before the fall of 2020. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system. The GPA shall be cumulative for the athlete's entire collegiate career."
