Treat yourself and your family to a cup or bowl of delicious homemade chili at the Woods County Free Fair on Friday, Sept. 10, at our Chili Cook-Off Contest. The contest will take place in the Women’s Building at the Woods County Fairgrounds at 6 p.m.

Any Woods County resident is eligible to enter the contest. Participants are encouraged to make their favorite recipe to enter, including traditional chili, white chili, vegetarian chili and more. Following judging, bowls of chili will be sold for $2 and cups will be sold for $1. The top three favorite chili recipes will receive cash prizes. A “f...
