Like a lot of other materials, the price of paper is increasing. Newspapers and businesses that offer printing services are contemplating price increases to cover this new expense. According to an article in Printing News, paper prices will be climbing 6 to 15 percent in the coming months.

Here at the Newsgram, our biggest paper cost is the rolls of newsprint we use for printing publications. We probably use about a ton (2,000 lb.) of newsprint each week to produce the Newsgram. We also print the Alva Review-Courier, the Freedom Call and the Northwestern News.
