Burlington's school board covered a wide variety of business from following state legislative mandates regarding no teaching of Critical Race Theory to offering more extra-curricular activities such as baseball/softball, One Act and shooting clays.

Burlington School Board President Terry Graham called the August meeting to order with the following members present: Robert Hill, April Kisling and Aaron Smith. T.J. Rockenbach was absent.

Also attending were Superintendent Kevin Brown, Jr./Sr. High Principal Gerrett Spears, Elementary Principal Stan Pedersen and Minutes Clerk Tracy Granados.
