Ex-Bristow officer sentenced to 15 years for child sex abuse

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A former Oklahoma police officer has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexual abuse of a child, according to federal court documents.

Bradley Don Goodin, who was a police officer in Bristow at the time of the abuse, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Tulsa.

Goodin pleaded guilty to the charge in April, admitting in a signed plea agreement that he touched the child inappropriately. In exchange for the plea Goodin avoided a possible life sentence and two additional sex abuse charges and a weapons charge against him were dismissed.
