PAWNEE, Okla. (AP) — A 55-year-old Pawnee man has drowned while swimming in northern Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Albert Alan Lorentz Jr. was swimming at the Bear Creek Reservoir near Pawnee when he disappeared Friday, the OHP said.

A man who was with Lorentz, told investigators he was fishing when he noticed Lorentz was missing. The OHP said Lorentz, who was not wearing a flotation device, floated to the surface while searchers were looking for him.

The OHP said the drowning remains under investigation, but there was no immediate indication of foul play....
