RawHyde Golf Tournament raises over $10,000 for student scholarships

MAKING RAWHYDE HAPPEN – Known as the Quarantine Crew at the RawHyde Golf Tournament are the late Robert Hyde's wife and daughter along with good friends: (from left) Alisha Matzke, Kate Garvie, Bayli Hyde, Marci Hyde, Sarah Garvie and Toni Pederson.

After the recent 6th Annual RawHyde Golf Tournament Bayli Hyde said, "It's one of the best days of my year." Her father Robert Hyde died in an auto accident in 2013. Robert's friends started a golf tournament in memory of their friend and golfing partner. "I love that so many people come together to have fun, tell stories about Dad and raise money to help people go to college or a trade school."

Held at the Turkey Creek Golf Course at Hennessey, the tournament had 112 golfers and raised over $10,000, according to Bayli's mom Marci. They had 40 hole sponsors. Adding to the fundraising efforts w...
