Alva High School graduates pursue electrical careers

Recent Alva High School graduates Ethan Kilmer, David Carpenter and Tanner Quinlan became employed at Gonzales Electric in Pueblo, Colorado, as commercial electricians earlier this summer. The trio trained at Northwest Technology Center in the electrical trades program while in high school.

Three recent Alva High School graduates are following their dreams in Colorado. At the end of May, Ethan Kilmer, Tanner Quinlan and David Carpenter walked across Ranger Field at NWOSU and graduated from Alva High School. A few weeks later they were headed to Colorado looking for an opportunity to work in the electrical trades industry. The trio loaded up their cars, said good-bye to their families and headed out looking for a job.
