Police: Man no longer facing murder charge in Wichita death

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Dodge City man who was arrested in connection to a shooting death near a Wichita park is no longer facing a possible murder charge, police said Friday.

Wichita police said Friday morning that Caesar Hermosillo, 28, was arrested on possible charges of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and on an outstanding warrant.

On Friday afternoon, police said Hermosillo was no longer facing murder and robbery charges but was being held on the warrant.
