Sheriff: Two deaths near Topeka appear to be murder-suicide

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — A man and woman who were found dead from gunshots wounds apparently died in a murder-suicide, Shawnee County authorities said.
The bodies of a man and woman were found Friday afternoon in a home just south of Topeka, Sheriff Brian Hill said.
A preliminary investigation indicated the deaths are a murder-suicide stemming from a domestic incident, Hill said.
The investigation is continuing but Hill said officers do not believe anyone else was involved....
