Week 37: Isaiah 36-66

Isaiah chapters 36 through 66 is very similar to the first 35 chapters. The Israelites have times when they do well, and times when they turn away from righteousness. The prophets warn them over and over, and it happens anyway. Isaiah has some history, some prophecy, lots of warnings and promises.

Isaiah has the most obvious prophecies about the coming Messiah. The Israelites are taught that God keeps His promises. He warns and punishes, He promises and delivers. Isaiah writes of peace, good news, the Salvation of the Lord, and rejoicing.
