Prosecutor won't charge ex-University of Oklahoma lobbyist

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — The University of Oklahoma's former top lobbyist who resigned last month won't face charges related to a woman's allegations that he sexually assaulted her, Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn said Tuesday.
Mashburn said he determined the facts did not support a criminal charge against John Woods, 46.
"This is a deal where he made two advances to her, and she successfully rejected those advances," Mashburn said. "It does not rise to the level of a criminal prosecution."
Mashburn said both advances involved Woods trying to kiss the woman in the parking lot...
