This week we will finish Jeremiah (30-52) and read Lamentations. Jeremiah was a prophet of God for almost 40 years, through the reign of five different kings. True prophets spoke the words God gave them to speak. There were also false prophets who said whatever the king wanted to hear. Prophets were to speak the truth as Jeremiah did.
