Since Brandon Sherman has moved outside the city limits, he can no longer serve on the Alva City Council. Councilmembers will vote on a replacement for his Ward 2 seat during Monday’s regular meeting. Mayor Kelly Parker’s appointment of Wanda Gail Swallow to that position is the first action item on the agenda. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall.

After reports from earlier meetings, the mayor and the city business manager, time will be allowed for remarks and inquires by citizens. Each speaker is limited to two minutes and must identify himself/herself.
