Wanted to give an update on several things happening in the state.

First, I'm happy to see our Covid-19 numbers are going down. In the latest weekly report from the state health department, there were 8,643 new cases reported in the state. That's down 7.3% from the week prior.

The health department says 57.8% of the eligible population is fully vaccinated. Currently, 11% of Covid-19 hospital patients were fully vaccinated and 86.1% were non-vaccinated. The remaining 2.9% of patients were partially vaccinated.
