Alva woman charged with meth distribution

A woman who had been living in an apartment at Northwest Domestic Crisis Center in Alva has been arrested on drug charges.

Shannon Katherine McDaniel, 37, of Alva, is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school – AFCF, a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to seven years and/or a fine of up to $100,000.
