Thursday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day, a legal holiday in the U.S. Schools in Alva will honor veterans on that day and give students the opportunity to learn about the day’s meaning.

At Alva High School, veterans are invited to gather in the school library to enjoy coffee and visiting. At 9 a.m. a program honoring veterans will be held in the high school auditorium.
