Scouts collect 780 pounds of nonperishables for the food bank

Local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts were busy on Saturday, Nov. 6, picking up non-perishable food items throughout the Alva community for their Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for the food bank. Over 780 pounds of food and $40 in cash was delivered to the food bank at the end of the day.
