Meron Kay Highfill Burleson went home to her Lord on November 20, 2021. She will be cremated at her request. There will be no memorial service at this time. A private memorial service to celebrate her life and going home will be held at a later date.

Meron was born on January 2, 1942, to Jack and Doris Lorene Highfill in Leon, Kansas. She was Christian in faith and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cherokee.
