Candidates for the board of education in nine Alfalfa County school districts will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, through Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m.

Kelly Stein, secretary of the Alfalfa County Election Board, said Declaration of Candidacy forms must be completed and submitted to the county election board located at 602 W. 5th St., Ste 3, Cherokee, no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, when the filing period ends.
