Candidate filing begins for board of education Monday

Candidates for the boards of education in four Woods County school districts will file Declarations of Candidacy beginning 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6.
The secretary of the Woods County Election Board said Declaration of Candidacy forms must be completed and submitted to the Woods County Election Board no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, when the filing period ends. Contests of Candidacy must be filed no later than Friday, Dec. 10, and may only be filed by another candidate for that office. During Candidacy Filings and Contest of Candidacy filings, the office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
