It was good fun, with good food. While in line, one guy said he had his mouth set for shrimp, but it is hard to beat a good chicken fry. The Moose crew did a good job as usual. I didn't win any prizes, but it may have been because I wasn't entered in the drawings. Thanks to the people who spent time preparing this party. I didn't see any water department people there. They had a busy few days restoring water service north of town. High five's all around the city for a job well done. When is the employee Christmas party for the self-checkout at Walmart? There is comedy everywhere.

A friend of mine said a pickup got his trash and all others on his side of the street in the morning, then in the afternoon another pickup gets the trash on the other side of the alley. Well okay, there must be some logic to this somewhere.

It has been hard to get into the Christmas spirit with the warm weather. I don't know if it is the weather, or the need for extra Christmas cash, but the salvage has been busy. It has been a good week for me because I didn't lose any friends. I hope we can be blessed with no loss of loved ones till after the holidays.

There was one death I didn't have a problem with. The state executed a man 30 years too late. He had been on death row for 31 years for the killing of a woman. Great job Oklahoma, keep up the good work. About one execution a week until they run out of killers does it for me.

I have trouble with being decisive sometimes, but I may get quicker after reading this: Be decisive. Right or wrong, make a decision. The road is paved with flat squirrels that didn't make a decision quick enough. I don't think I would look good as a flat Jim.

Happy belated birthday to my grandson James Leonard at Garber. Happy birthday to my son Justin, and to JoJo, one of the Sunday dinner regulars at our house.
