William Matthew "Matt" Murphy, 50, of Hardtner, Kansas, formerly of Hoyt, Kansas, passed away December 6, 2021, at his home surrounded by family. He was born October 30, 1971, in Topeka, Kansas, to Norma and Jeff Murphy.

Matt graduated from Royal Valley High School. After receiving his associates degree from Cloud County Community College, Matt also attended Kansas State University.
