I saw a plaque that listed the four stages of life: “You believe in Santa Claus, you don’t believe in Santa Claus, you are Santa Claus and, the last stage, you look like Santa Claus. Having attained Stage 4, I look back on the others with fond memories. This year’s Chaffee Christmas list includes mostly wants and not needs but that is a sign that our children are well cared for.
