"What inspired you?" the Newsgram asked Kiowa businessman Roger Simpson about the 80-foot cross he's made and is about to erect on his property. The massive white cross will welcome motorists to Kiowa, Kansas, and bid them safe travels as they leave Kiowa on Highway 8.
