The Woods County Health Department is offering free drive-through testing for Covid on Saturday, Jan. 8, by appointment. This is PCR testing, the “gold standard” of testing, and not the rapid test. The testing will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the alley behind the health department, which is located at 511 Barnes Ave. in Alva. Enter the alley from 5th Street. Those being tested will stay in their vehicles.
