Heaton accepted as a master instructor for Project Lead The Way

Last month, Dr. Brenna Heaton, biomedical sciences instructor at Northwest Technology Center's Alva campus, was accepted as a Project Lead The Way (PLTW) master teacher. Northwest Technology Center's biomedical sciences course uses the PLTW curriculum throughout the program. As a new instructor beginning in 2019, Heaton spent three summers for a total of ten weeks training to teach the PLTW curriculum in the course. PLTW is a curriculum used throughout the country in programs focusing on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.
