WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Wichita man has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences for sexually assaulting a young girl, the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office said Thursday.

Jeremiah Orange, 40, was sentenced Wednesday for two counts of rape and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Prosecutors said Orange abused the girl in Wichita during the summer of 2016 while she and her mother were staying with him. Each of the four life sentences have parole eligibility after 25 years.
