Goldbugs still undefeated with 72-28 Blackwell win

The undefeated Alva Goldbugs traveled to Blackwell Tuesday to take on the Maroons. The two teams played in December for Alva’s homecoming with the Goldbugs winning 65-18. Jaxon Jones was on the court for the first time this season after recovering from a surgery.
The Goldbugs dominated the scoreboard leading 22-13 at the end of the first quarter Tuesday. The halftime score was Alva 36, Blackwell 19. The Goldbugs really took over in the last half of the game, leading 60-23 at the end of the third and winning the game 72-28.
