For the second time this season, the Alva Ladybugs took on the Lady Maroons and came away with a decisive win. Last time it was a 66-28 victory for homecoming. Tuesday night the Ladybugs traveled to Blackwell in the first game since their loss to Perry.
Alva came out strong in the first quarter to lead 16-6 but lost ground in the second for a narrow 23-18 margin at the half. After the break, the Ladybugs held Blackwell to six points in each of the final quarters to win 54-30.
