Man charged with embezzling from Walmart

An Alva man is accused of taking over $1,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart without paying.

Diquan Trekenan Kinta Bradford, 22, of Alva, is charged with embezzlement, a felony. This crime is punishable by not more than two years in prison or a fine not to exceed $5,000, or by both such fine and imprisonment and restitution.

On Sept. 13, Alva Police Officers James Jones and Sean Farris responded to a theft report from Walmart. They met with Store Manager James Brinkley and Asset Protection Manager Mekhial Hamilton. They stated Bradford, an employee, had been stealing from them on multiple...
