Gary Green of Kiowa, Kansas, was born October 10, 1942, in Moody, Missouri, and passed from this life on January 16, 2022, in Kiowa, at the age of 80 years.

He moved to Kiowa at the age of nine. He married Pam Schupbach in 1963. He started Green Acres Cattle Company in the early '70s. His love of horses paved the way to a cutting horse business that included showing competitively. He raised and trained border collies as a passion.
