Alfalfa County renews contract with City of Cherokee for regional airport

The Alfalfa County commissioners heard from Cherokee City Manager Mike Jones at Tuesday's meeting. Jones asked Mike Roach, Jay Hague and Marvin Woodall to continue and renew their contract between the City and County.
In 2019, officials in Alfalfa County signed to enter into an agreement with the City of Cherokee on future Cherokee Municipal Airport operations and expansions. The agreement, presented by Jones, calls for the city and county to work cooperatively in jointly operating and facilitating growth and development to the airport.
