The Wednesday report from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) shows Alva with 96 active cases of Covid-19, compared to 44 the previous week. Those numbers are updated on Monday and reported on Wednesday. Waynoka has 14 active cases, double the seven of a week ago. Over the last 30 days Woods County has had 193 active cases of Covid-19, according to the report.

The report shows any counts below five as zero. Both Dacoma and Freedom are listed at zero although the Freedom Public Schools announced on social media this week that they had a student who tested positive and contact tracing was ongoing.

On Wednesday, Oklahoma had 10,001 new cases of Covid-19 with a total of 112,540 active cases.

Starting this week, each residential address in the United States is eligible to receive four free at-home Covid-19 tests. Go to http://www.covidtests.gov to register for yours.
