KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Police in Kansas City, Kansas, are investigating the late-night shooting death of a man near the Missouri border.

The shooting happened after 11 p.m. Sunday near State Line Road, when emergency dispatchers received calls about a person having been shot inside a vehicle, police said. Arriving officers discovered a man who had already died from gunshot wounds.
