There are 1,839 traditional foster homes and 2,024 kinship foster homes in Oklahoma. There are 6,934 children in foster care in Oklahoma. There is a constant need for more foster families in the state.
If you think you might be interested, you can learn more at Northwest Family Services in Alva on Thursday, Jan. 27. Come and go between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. at 620 Flynn Street to learn more about how you can help children needing a place to stay.
