The staff at Share Medical Center got to deliver their first baby born there in more than ten years. Mother and child were doing fine last I heard.

A while back I was watching one of Cleo's favorite shows, “Discover Oklahoma.” One of the commercials featured Alva. We don't see the show every week, so I don't know if it is there every week. It was a good commercial and might bring someone to Alva to visit and the town's fine folks can persuade them to stay.

I was disappointed they did not show the Scribner recycling yard. It shows you are a progressive town when there is a home for non-garbage...
