As we saw last week, Ed Barreto was 60 years old when he played briefly in a football game for Ashland University in 1997. At that time, he was the oldest person ever to play in such an athletic contest.

A few years later, however, two 61-year-old athletes broke Barreto’s record. Both were kickers who not only played but scored for their respective teams.
