Don McLean's line in the song "American Pie" says it all. February 3, 1959, rock and roll took a major hit. Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and JP Richardson (The Big Bopper) were killed in an airplane crash at Clear Lake, Iowa. We've lost many artists over the years, but fortunately they live on in their music.

What a storm! The ice was just right and landed on the ground and not on high lines. I just hope the snow soaks into the ground and does not run off. It is pretty slick out, so everyone has to learn to ice-drive all over.
