Friday evening, I attended the First Friday Art Walk exhibition at Graceful Arts Gallery in Alva. It was a cold, snowy night and very few people attended. The exhibit features quilts, both full size and smaller wall hangings, made by members of the Peace by Piece quilting group. Now that the snow is melting, you can still see the colorful exhibit free at the gallery during this month. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
